Colon+number after an interface name?

Adds extra IP addresses to a network interface

eg) ifconfig eth0:1 210.224.223.10 up

For example, ifconfig eth0:0 10.0.0.10 adds the address 10.0.0.10 as a virtual IP address to eth0
